Important Update, Open Skates and Tryouts ** Please note schedule changes first week**
Greetings Lightning Families,
Thank you for your 2021/22 hockey registrations. Many of you are aware that we are currently planning for a regular season. Your registration is so important to our preparation.
We anticipate there may be some restrictions or protocols, and as always, our Lightning hockey players health and well-being will be our priority. We ask for your patience and flexibility.
IMPORTANT ITEMS, PLEASE READ CAREFULLY
WAITLISTS: All waitlists have been opened. Please log back into your account through Ramp Registration and complete the payment process.

GAL-TENDERS: If your player is interested in becoming a U13/15/18 goalie, please let us know. Equipment and instruction provided. All registered U13/15/18 Goalies will receive a rebate of $100 on their registration. U7, U9 & U11 must follow the Hockey Canada player pathway and rotate through goalie position.
OPEN SKATES: ALL registered 2021/22 players are invited to attend their age divisions open skate. There is no charge. Schedule is attached to this message.
TRYOUTS FOR U13/15/18: ALL COLGHA 2021/22 registered players that are planning to attend Lightning Tryouts MUST log into their Ramp registration account and PURCHASE A $30 TRYOUT PACKAGE for their age division. Click on Dashboard, then Available Participant Packages to find your players division pkg.
Players that belong to another OWHA organization must ALSO register for our TRYOUT PACKAGE, and are required to bring a Permission to Skate. Players that belong to a minor hockey organization must register for our TRYOUT PACKAGE and will sign a waiver at the door. Please complete all tasks in order to attend COLGHA Tryouts.
U9 & U11 Divisions: U9 and U11 divisions follow the HC player pathway. ALL early skates are categorized as the Evaluation/Preparation Phase. There are currently no tryouts for either of these divisions. Schedule is attached to this message.
REGISTRATION PAYMENT: If you have chosen offline payment (cash, e transfer or cheque) please follow through with the payment and complete your players installments on time. If you are unsure of the amount and due dates, please refer to the general Information page on our website. Or log into your Ramp registration account to view your balance.
ARENA PROTOCOLS: Please sign in at the arena entrance. Masks must be worn at all times in the arenas. Players may remove masks for helmets. Please maintain distance from other members outside of your family.
DO NOT attend ice times if you're feeling unwell. Please reach out to the current division Head Coach and Player Development Rep to discuss if this affects your players tryout participation.
